I'm the newest member to the Wayne Township Board of Trustees — I was elected in November 2015 and I took my seat in 2016 for a four year term.
I am a lifelong resident of Waynesville and Wayne Township. I grew up playing on the streets of Waynesville and I am a graduate of Waynesville High School. I attended college at Lee University in Cleveland, TN before returning home to start my family.
I have been married for 13 years to my wife, Lauren. We have two children that we are proud to raise as Spartans: Sophia, age 8, and Bodhi, age 4. We currently reside in Corwin and worship at CityGate Church in Lebanon.
For over 10 years I managed a financial and credit counseling agency. As my wife and I started to raise our family and wanted to work closer to home, we decided to (re)open a local business, Pat's Place Sunoco. My grandfather, Verdis Patrick, bought the gas station in 1981, and after leaving the Patrick family for a few years, we were able to update and re-open the store in 2013.
As a young person and entrepreneur, I have a set of expectations for my government. In the digital age, I expect my government to keep up, and to work smarter for its citizens.
My experience with technology and business — including teaching people how to manage credit and directing multimillion dollar budgets with tight profit margins — has given me a unique skill set ideal to serve the township and continue taking us forward.
All-In for Wayne Township
We live, work, and educate our children in Wayne Township, and we couldn't be happier to call this place home. Over the past three and a half years I have been able to champion fiscal conservatism all while expanding the quality of services delivered to our residents.
